The project aims to develop planned employee giving and volunteering as a corporate policy in order that employee contributions become important source for funding and support to Bulgarian civil society. Coherent corporate policies will certainly overcome the weaknesses of individual giving and volunteering. Workplace presents a framed space where employees can be targeted to improve the quality and quantity of their giving. The employers have a direct benefit from involving employees in community projects, which will be demonstrated and promoted during the project. Volunteering is the step to continuous support for charitable cause. Volunteering allows people to know and ‘live’ with the cause. Volunteering most naturally educates philanthropists who will support civil society needs lifelong.
