This project seeks to provide an alternative for creating the internal missing links, to compliment the system where it lacks capacity, motivation or power. The project aims at overcoming the crisis of trust in 10 public institutions in Sofia responsible for education of, bringing up and/or caring for children and young people (7 schools, a social home, a day care centre, a hospital) thus decreasing the level of aggression, insecurity, lack of confidence, dependence and deviant behaviour within school and social-care system. It will work for improving the ability of free expression of young people suffering temporal or permanent isolation, alienation, lack of personal motivation or being victims of others’ aggression and violence. (It is statistically proven that these are between 10 and 15 % of all the students at any Bulgarian school.). The project will be proactively increasing the creative potential of more than 400 young people – representing various social layers - through engaging their creative abilities and potentials turned on resolving personal and social problematic. Through engaging other key players (parents, teachers, care-takers, social workers, significant others like wide family relatives, friends outside the school and close-family circle, other schoolmates, etc.) in public discussions and forums, thematic seminars and art presentations it will be reaching and involving directly and indirectly more than 5000 people altogether.
