Evaluation criteria
Requests for support are evaluated against the following criteria:
- relevance of the project to the CEE Trust mission and objectives;
- relevance to the local context;
- identification of a real issue (problem/need/challenge/opportunity);
- clear goal, clear position, clear idea how to achieve it;
- activities that address directly the identified issue(s) and the goal(s) of the project;
- capacity of the organization (coalition, group of individuals) to implement the project;
- genuine and provable efforts to build constituency, win public support, work with the media, adopt a policy of transparency;
- realistic and argumented budget;
- vision for the future and strategy of the organization.
