| Project Description | The project aims at provoking public discussions about the role and significance of museums as institutions for dialogue in the society and between diverse social groups. Its goal is to structure, provoke and support active civic behaviour locally and at national level (at regional and European in perspective) in the sphere of culture – to improve the way of life and support the social interests, to extend the practice and support the work for non-profit purposes and create partnership networks. The project aims at establishing a national federation of clubs named “Friends of Museums” which will play a role of centres for public debates and incentives for civic participation in programmes for local development. The team will work in several Bulgarian cities known for their cultural heritage with potential to contribute to the strategies for local development. |
