| Project Description | Institute for Public Affairs (IVO) is applying for an institutional support, which would help to fulfill its basic mission. IVO is a unique public policy think tank whose research activities and expertise have helped to promote open society values and democratic political culture in Slovakia for more than a decade. The Applicant intends to continue his work in four different areas: • migration and integration of third-country nationals residing in Slovakia; • policy-oriented research on gender and age issues; • digital literacy, digital divide, and e-democracy; • cooperation within the PASOS think tank network in order to promote and protect democracy, human rights, good governance and open society values. The Applicant plans to carry out a complex project called Seven Letters of a Democratic Alphabet, which become one of the useful means for sustaining, nurturing, and promoting democratic political culture and liberal constitutionalism in Slovakia. |
