The project’s goal is to develop strategic advocacy targeting the most relevant strands of public policy for Roma inclusion within the four major areas identified within the Decade of Roma Inclusion (Employment, Housing, Education and Health). The objectives are: to enhance cooperation between member organizations through the adoption and validation of a common strategy, enhancing communication through regular meetings and to enhance participation in cooperative advocacy campaigns; to enhance watchdog capacities of member organizations through advocacy training and involvement in RCA campaigns; to update its communications strategy with a view to informing and mobilizing members of associations and Romani individuals; to develop the RCA’s Civic Action Group that is able to take coordinated action (petitions, letter of concern, demonstration of solidarity, etc) within the campaigns RCA implementing.
