The goal of the project is to strengthen and work on sustainability of Romanian civil society by developing and delivering a workshop series focused on communications and local philanthropy development; to lower the barriers to outreach through involvement of the Romanian IT&C community and development of practical best practices repository with a platform for ongoing discussion. Its objectives are to increase working understanding of local philanthropy; to share tools and methodologies live and online; to provide ongoing support to participants; to freely distribute materials; to create connections between IT&C sector and civil society to build common understandings, tools and explore potentials for collaboration; to develop web platform from which to encourage and inspire NGOs interested in local philanthropy development, and on which to continue trainings and discussions, and, to understand, define and share best practices.
