The goal of the project is to promote volunteering in Romania by creating and disseminating opportunities for volunteers in the community and by helping local volunteer involving organizations to learn how to effectively engage volunteers in their activities. Objectives: to multiply the volunteer center model by offering training and consultancy to 10 selected organizations interested in developing volunteer centers; to organize the National Volunteer Week as a common event of the volunteer centers across Romania; to publish and promote the Guide of volunteer opportunities in 20 counties in Romania where the new and old volunteer centers are located; to publish a Manual for setting up and managing a volunteer center as a mechanism for creating and disseminating the volunteer opportunities in the local community.
