| Project Description | This research project will be focusing on three metaphors of public policy: organized crime, anti-corruption, and good governance. The purpose of the critical study is to throw light on the way some grand policy metaphors create quasi-objects or become themselves subject of public policy misuse. It will raise questions as to a number of well known policy concepts and metaphors. All research will be aimed at critical rethinking of universal concepts that have been invented and applied globally for the last 20-30 years, notably anti-corruption, organized rime, human security, good governance etc. The policy research proposed will produce more specific results in the form of warning system for avoiding risks of institutional failures based on false policy metaphors, which is an established patter of the European Commission for doing business.
