| Project Description | The goal of the project is to increase civic engagement and effective public participation in environmental decision-making
Its objectives are:
- To improve environmental law enforcement and monitoring on local and national level through the direct involvement of at least 12-15 NGOs and indirectly the two main green coalitions;
- To initiate environmental policy analysis and dialogue between NGOs and local and national decision makers;
- To raise awareness and to step up against at least 3-5 environmentally destructive development and infrastructure projects through NGO and public involvement;
- To improve networking and coalition-building so as to get more NGOs active and encouraged in advocacy and watchdog activities;
- To organize campaigns and activities for raising public awareness and to involve broader constituencies in advocacy work;
- Building capacities and carrying out litigation for the above purposes.
